All of our dogs are microchipped, spayed, neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption.
The cost of caring for our dogs is high, but always worth it to give them the second chance they deserve and find their loving, forever families.
There are many ways that you too, can help make a difference!

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely heavily on fundraising efforts and community support in caring for our dogs. Every donation helps us provide the best care for as many dogs as possible.

Some of these dogs were rescued from dire situations such as abandonment or ‘death row’ within the pound system. We believe all dogs deserve their happily ever after.

Foster
Have you considered fostering?
By taking into your home an animal in need temporarily, you’re freeing up a spot at pounds that may be preparing the animal for euthanasia. By giving your foster dog the time with your family, allows them the time they need to become ready for adoption. In the same breath, it is not an easy task, but extremely rewarding experience to be part of a rescue dog’s journey.
Parents that have dogs provide life lessons and extended benefits to their children. Not only does having a dog naturally teach children responsibilities and empathy, but it can also help them with separation anxiety and feeling a sense of security when they are at home.
Dogs will always provide unconditional love. Regardless of what may have happened minutes, hours, or days before, a dog will love you and will always be there, greeting with as much love and kindness as if nothing had ever gone wrong.

The pack contains items such as; Lead, Car Seat Belt, Grooming Glove & Collapsible Bowl. Speak with our AK9 carers prior to your meet and greet or enquire via www.Zenify.com.au
In addition, you will require a Collar with a tag including your contact details to help with your pet needs.

Volunteer
Some of our most valuable members are those who continue to volunteer their time, even though they are not fostering or looking after dogs.
This can range from assisting with new members, fundraising events (Eg. Bunnings BBQ), and advocating our cause. You would be surprised how many people have contacts and relationships with people and businesses, who can contribute to the success of our rescue.
